1.    Terms and Conditions of Use

This statement outlines the terms and conditions governing all transactions made through this website, regardless of whether the order was transmitted by the internet, telephone/facsimile or post.  By accessing, browsing or using this site you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these terms and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.  If you do not agree with these terms, do not use this site.

These terms and conditions of trade may change from time to time as necessary and it is your responsibility to familiarise yourself with them before conducting business with us.

2.    Definition of Terms

“We”, “us”, “our” and “the company” means Global Kiwi NZ Limited trading as Global Diamonds

“You”, “your” and “yourself” means the customer using this website.

3.    Secondhand Traders Obligations

As licenced secondhand trade dealers we are obligated to collect the following before any gold purchase can be made:

  • Personal Identification: suitable photo identification, proof of telephone number and residential address must be provided.
  • All customers must be over 18 years old.

4.    Offer to Purchase items

We will send you, the Customer, a purchase offer via email or in person, listing the item/s and the price that we offer for them. If you wish to have your gemstones or diamonds returned to you then a $25 set fee will be deducted from this purchase offer. This offer will be made once the item/s have been weighed and tested. Should wish to accept this offer, then Global Gold Buyers will require either a signature (if in person) or an email confirmation that this purchase is to go ahead.

5.    Our Payment Terms

Payment will be made, via internet banking to a nominated bank account, or by cheque, within two business days of the customer accepting the Purchase Offer.

6.    Damaged Goods

Global Gold Buyers will undertake any testing and inspection with the utmost of care. Global Gold Buyers will not be liable for damage caused during this procedure, as all inspections are at the customer’s risk.

7.    Ownership of Goods

Once the Purchase Offer is accepted the item/s become the property of Global Gold Buyers. As a requirement of the Second Hand Traders obligations all items will be held on our premises for 14 days from date of purchase.

9.    Privacy

We value your privacy and do not share your information with anyone.  We may send you information on products, specials and promotions from time to time.  You may remove your name from our subscription list by advising us through the “contact us” page of our website.

10.   Site Information

Every effort is made to ensure that the information on this site is correct.  We will not be responsible for any inaccuracies or incompleteness.

This website is updated regularly and information on this site may change without notice.

We make every effort to ensure that this website is virus free but it is your responsibility to ensure that your computer is adequately protected.  We will not be responsible for any virus transmitted inadvertently from or by this site.

 11.   Limitation of Liability

You may not copy, download, modify, transmit or otherwise use any material from this website.  You are granted access to this site under the condition that you will not interfere, or attempt to interfere with any of the content.

Under no circumstances, including, but not limited to negligence, shall Global Gold Buyers be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages including but not limited to, loss of data or profit, arising out of the use, or the inability to use, the materials on this site.  If your use of materials from this site results in the need for servicing, repair or correction of equipment or data, you assume any costs thereof.

12.   Jurisdiction

These terms and any matter relating to this website will be governed by New Zealand Law and the New Zealand Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction in respect of them.
